This website is a guide for guests of Fern Studio, in Forest Row, East Sussex, run by its hosts, Emily and Ross. Last updated 28 September 2026.

Nothing you type

There are no forms and no accounts. We set no cookies.

Visitor counts

The site uses no analytics at all.

The map

The map on the front page loads by itself as you scroll down towards it. The map tiles are fetched from OpenStreetMap’s servers, which see your device’s address in the same way any website you visit does. If you never scroll that far, nothing is fetched from them. Nothing about you is sent to us.

If you open the guide from the link in your arrival message, your browser keeps that link’s key on your device, so the studio stays marked on the map when you come back. The key stays in your browser. To remove it, clear this site’s data in your browser settings.

Bookings and messages

Bookings and messages happen on Airbnb, under Airbnb’s own privacy policy. Anything you give Airbnb is handled there, not here.
